These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Pop the Balloon website and your participation in any Pop the Balloon events. By accessing this website or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.

1. About the Event

Pop the Balloon is a live, in-person singles event designed to facilitate structured interaction through hosted questions and group participation. The event is not a dating service, matchmaking service, or guarantee of personal outcomes.

Participation is voluntary.

2. Eligibility

To attend a Pop the Balloon event, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Provide accurate information during booking

  • Comply with event rules and host instructions

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees who behave disrespectfully or disrupt the event.

3. Tickets & Payments

  • All ticket prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR)

  • Tickets are sold per person

  • Payment must be completed in full before attending

Tickets are limited per event to maintain a small group setting.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

  • If an event is cancelled by Pop the Balloon, a refund or reschedule option will be offered

  • Failure to attend an event does not qualify for a refund

5. Event Conduct

Attendees are expected to:

  • Treat others with respect

  • Follow the host’s guidance

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour

Pop the Balloon reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates these standards without refund.

6. Media & Recordings

By attending the event, you consent to the possibility of photos or short video recordings being taken for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform the event host on arrival.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pop the Balloon is not responsible for:

  • Personal interactions between attendees

  • Outcomes of conversations or connections made

  • Loss, injury, or damages incurred during or after the event, except where required by law

Attendance is at your own risk.

8. Changes to Events or Terms

Pop the Balloon may update event details or these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or attendance at events indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
